MapData Services’ JavaScript APIs provide developers with the tools to create professional, reliable and highly interactive mapping applications within their web pages.

Through MapData Services’ JavaScript APIs, developers can access accurate, up-to-date location-based data including maps, features of interest, geocodes and street routes. This provides the basis for delivering user-friendly, customisable and interactive application interfaces.

Our JavaScript API’s include:

QuickMap® API

  • Display your favourite map on your web page
  • Features place markers (pins) highlighting locations and geocoding (address co-ordinates)
  • Select options to display: further details for each marker; lines and areas; routes between markers
  • Provides accurate directions – turn by turn
  • Calculate distances and estimate drive times.

QuickFeatures® API

  • Access to over 20 categories and 52,000 predefined "sets" of locations, for example fast food outlets, ATMs and schools
  • Include your own corporate or organisational data
  • Display features near a marker, along a route or within an area
  • Convert and host data on MapData Services’ servers
  • Run queries against a database.

QuickLocate® API

  • Provides address validation
  • Returns a geocode result (address co-ordinates), based on the accuracy of the input address.
