Join us at Australia’s premier mapping event

By Danielle Mulligan30 Jul 2015

From 2 to 4 September, the who’s who of mapping will descend in Melbourne as part of the Australian Esri User Conference – Ozri 2015.

Hosted by Esri Australia, Ozri 2015 gives attendees the chance to learn from Australian and international GIS experts, and broaden their technical know-how with more than 60 awesome sessions.

From open data and big data to maps and apps, it’s about exploring the amazing, inspirational and just down-right cool things possible with mapping technologies.

Leading the US contingent is Esri product engineer and 3D technology guru Eric Wittner who will be joined by enterprise GIS specialist Derek Law and new-age cartographer Kenneth Field.

Gov 2.0 Director and self-proclaimed open data ninja Pia Waugh – one of the Australian Financial Review’s most influential women of 2014 – will discuss innovation through shared information and leads the local line-up of user presentations for an action paged two-day program.

Plus, Australian rock royalty Ross Wilson – former Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock front man – and X Factor singing drummer Jason Heerah will take the stage for a special concert at the conference dinner.

The MapData Services team will be at Ozri, showcasing some of the latest data and technologies to hit the market.

Kick-start your Ozri experience by registering for the Getting Started with Customer Analytics pre-conference workshop.

Facilitated by MapData Services and Esri Australia, learn the basics of geocoding plus add demographic and business data to your maps and apps to gain insights into who your customers are.

Register for the event today – and don’t forget to stop by booth 5 to see us and say hi.
